Pilates with Brookelyn

Pilates is a form of exercise that emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility and awareness to support mindful movements. Developed by Joseph Pilates, it focuses on strengthening, toning, breathing techniques, improving flexibility and mobility, and lengthening the spine. One of the benefits of the Pilates method is that it works extremely well for a wide range people, including athletes, dancers, golfers, seniors, pregnant women and anyone seeking rehabilitation.

I began teaching mat Pilates in various gyms as I worked toward achieving my AAFA certification with a concentration in Pilates. During this time I became interested in learning and practicing Pilates through apparatus. As I gained two years of experience on the Reformer and Stability Chair at a local Pilates studio, I obtained my certification on the Reformer and Tower through Balanced Body University. I have since gained five more years of experience teaching for numerous Pilates studios and fitness facilities. Today I am a proud owner and instructor of Pilates with Brookelyn.

* all classes are 55 minutes
* 75 minute private sessions are available
* packages do not expire

Because there is limited availability in both group and private session, I ask each client to provide a 24 hour notice if they must cancel their class. Thank you for understanding.
